We are currently looking for a Senior CADD Designer for our Engineering Department. An immediate full-time position is available for a civil Senior CADD Designer with 5-10 years direct experience preparing construction drawings using AUTOCAD and CIVIL 3D for civil/earthwork projects. Candidate must be proficient at preparing civil construction drawings in AUTOCAD 2015 or later with CIVIL 3D and have experience with: creating 3D surfaces; road profiles and cross sections; calculating cut/fill volumes; construction plans for grading, drainage, storm water management, erosion and sediment control, water, sewer, utilities; roadway, and related site design; using and manipulating aerial and topographic map files; and, preparing site plans, cross sections and profiles for civil grading and earthwork.
This position will take direction to generate two and three-dimensional models and drawings using AutoCAD software and creates original drawings from hand sketches, and design specifications from concept to completion. To ensure accuracy and compliance of organizational standards, the Senior CADD Designer works in collaboration with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Landscape Architects who will approve designs by the Senior CADD Designer, or improve on designs by adding or changing original concepts of the Senior CADD Designer. The Senior CADD Designer reports to the Project Engineer and works in a team environment with Senior CADD Designers, Design Engineers and Landscape Architects to ensure accuracy and best practices of the designed product or concept for VIKA South.
