Leadership

Mark joined VIKA in 2015 and has performed both traditional land surveying and 3D scanning field and office survey coordination work. Having a keen attention to detail and an aptitude for new technologies, Mr. Williams is highly skilled in the use of a 3D high-definition laser scanner and is one of VIKA’s four on-staff Federal Aviation Administration-Certified Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Pilots Under Part 107 Regulations. In addition, Mr. Williams is the Field Coordinator for VIKA’s 3D Laser Scanner projects.  His experience includes the use of the 3DLaser Scanner for the collection of raw data to be translated into accurate 2Dor 3D AutoCAD drawings to be utilized for 3D visual walk-throughs and 2D or 3Ddesign, collection of data, and production of detailed as-built drawings; existing conditions; 3D modeling and volume reports; façade surveys; building collapse analysis; rescue support; and monitoring and repair planning of structures.
