VIKA was called upon to assist in the rehabilitation of this lively, age restricted community. We are providing a wide range of surveying services to be utilized in establishing a new flood plain study, new sea wall design plans, and other engineered site redevelopment plans to help mitigate future storm surge events. These services have included the utilization of advanced surveying equipment and techniques including robotic total station, RTK GPS data collection and 3-D laser scanning. This has allowed us to collect enormous amounts of detailed topographic data, storm drain as-built information and exact positioning of existing site features and improvements in a very short period.
