The Museum building sits on land that previously belonged to the U.S. Department of Agriculture – two of the three annex buildings that sat on the property were demolished to build the Museum.
VIKA’s services on this General Services Administration project included: establishment of baseline survey control; building and underground utility locations; and, a topographic survey. The purpose of this survey was to identify all site features such that a dividing line between the Auditors Building and the Museum could be established for legal purposes.
